The enthusiasm and excitement displayed in these photos reflects the success of our Golf Clinic and Outreach Day that took place at the Morning Star Rugby Field in Durbanville on Saturday 2nd August 2014.
Children from Kilpheuwel, Fisantekraal and Morning Star communities were invited to attend the golf clinic.
The morning started with the kids enjoying sandwiches and cooldrinks while the general rules and etiquette of the game were explained to them and shortly thereafter the members of Fisantekraal Golfing Community (FGC) showed the youngsters some golfing techniques.
The amazement and eagerness of these young kids were so overwhelming, especially when they realized the fun and potential in the game of golf and the natural talent the youngsters displayed were just absolutely mind blowing.
After a lunch of boerewors rolls, the members concluded the event by presenting the kids with a FGC branded sling bag filled with exciting goodies in appreciation of their participation.
The members & families of the FGC enjoyed the day so much and really cannot wait to share their years of golfing experiences at the next event.
