Reality struck the youth on Sunday 8th September when most of the kids put their feet on a real golf course for the first time.

Those who braved the cold and early morning preparation received even a bigger suprise when legendary golfer Noel Maart entertained them with his golf tricks and golf techniques at Durbanville Golf Course.

Noel took some time off, from his busy schedule at King David Golf Club where he manages the course, after hearing about this new Golf Club who is doing such exceptional work in the community.

He was amazed to see the professionalism amongst the players and the manner in which the club prepared themselves mentally and spiritually before an event.

Noel encouraged the members to stay focused in the development of the youth and to remain committed in what they currently offering to the community.

He emphasized to the youngsters the importance of sport in everyday life and how the game of golf taught him discipline and respect which changed his outlook in life.
